Nistor Cloud
All of Nistor. None of the running.
We are building Nistor Cloud to run a dedicated Nistor for your team, in its own GCP project: installed, upgraded and backed up by the people who build it. The open-source core plus the Enterprise modules you choose.
Nothing to install
Planned: no Terraform, no database, no upgrades on your side. You grant access; we do the rest.
Single-tenant by design
Your own GCP project, database and encryption key, never shared with another customer.
The same Nistor
The same product and modules as self-hosted Enterprise. The only difference is who runs it.
What it is, who it is for, and how you sign in.
Nistor, run for your team
Nistor Cloud is the managed edition of Nistor, the operator console for data platforms: lineage, scheduling, incidents and data trust in one graph. It is for data and platform teams on Google Cloud who want Nistor and its Enterprise modules without running them. Each customer organisation is to get its own instance, and its members manage their organisation in the Nistor Cloud console at nistor.cloud.
Signing in with Google
Members sign in to the console with their Google account, or with a one-time link sent to their e-mail address. With Google, Nistor Cloud asks only for the openid, email and profile scopes, to identify you by your verified e-mail address and your Google account. It keeps those two, does not use your name or profile picture, and never reads your Gmail, Drive or any other Google data.
Read access you grant, and can take back.
Nistor reads your GCP projects through a service account you grant roles to. The grant script is generated from what each integration needs, and a check proves it before anything runs.
- SaaS tools such as Sifflet, Castor and GitLab connect with an API token
- Behind a firewall? An optional runner in your network dials out; nothing dials in
- Revoke the grant and Nistor stops reading
Upgrades and backups will be our job.
The fleet is built to release in waves, our own tenant first, and a wave stops itself at the first failed check.
- Planned: you choose the maintenance window, and can pin a version for a freeze
- Planned: automated backups with point-in-time recovery
- Planned: logs and metrics reach the team that builds Nistor
Your platform, our operations, clear lines between them.
No standing access
By design, engineers request time-bound access. Every grant is logged, and you can require your approval.
Your secrets stay yours
By design, credentials go straight into your tenant's Secret Manager, and the support roles cannot read their values.
Telemetry, not data
By design, only service logs, metrics and hourly usage counts leave your tenant.
Leave cleanly
By design, deleting your tenant exports your data first, and waits until the export is confirmed fetched.

If a licence lapses, the Enterprise modules turn read-only. Open-source features and your data are never affected. Nistor Cloud is in early access.
