If a licence lapses, the Enterprise modules turn read-only. Open-source features and your data are never affected. Nistor Cloud is in early access.
Before you choose.
Is the open-source edition a trial?
No. It has the whole graph, the scheduler, incidents, Data Trust and most integrations, under Apache 2.0, for as long as you run it. Enterprise adds modules on top of it, and Sifflet and Castor connect through them.
Can I start with open source and add Enterprise later?
Yes. The Enterprise modules install on top of the same deployment, in the same GCP project, and work on the graph you already have.
What happens if an Enterprise licence lapses?
The Enterprise modules turn read-only. Open-source features and your data are never affected.
Where does Nistor Cloud run?
In a GCP project dedicated to you and operated by Nistor. It reads your own projects through a service account you grant, which you can revoke at any time. Nistor Cloud is in early access.
Does Nistor run on AWS or Azure?
Google Cloud today. Installing Nistor on AWS and Azure is coming soon, and connectors for their data services are planned: S3, Glue, Redshift and Athena on AWS; Data Lake Storage, Synapse, Fabric and Data Factory on Azure. See the cloud roadmap.
