Nistor Cloud terms of service

Last updated: 16 October 2026

The service

Nistor Cloud (nistor.cloud) runs and supports Nistor instances for a customer organisation (for example, Acme Retail) and gives its members a console to manage them.

Accounts and members

The customer invites its members by e-mail (for example, ops@acme.example) and is responsible for who it invites and the roles it gives them.

Fees

The customer’s contract sets the fees, the billing period and the plan. Invoices are payable within 30 days of their date unless the contract says otherwise.

A trial is free for the period the contract or the invitation gives, and ends on its own unless the customer signs a contract.

Availability and support

Nistor runs the service with care and publishes its status on status.nistor.io. Planned maintenance is announced there in advance where possible.

A service level, with its credits, applies only where the customer’s contract includes one.

Liability

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data that could have been restored from the customer’s own copies.

Each party’s total liability under the contract is limited to the fees the customer paid for the service in the 12 months before the event. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to.

Termination

Either party can end the contract at the end of its term, or at any time if the other party seriously breaches it and does not put it right within 30 days of being told.

After the contract ends, the customer can ask for an export of its data for 30 days; the data is then deleted as the privacy notice’s retention section says.

Governing terms

Where the customer’s signed contract differs from these terms, the contract applies. The contract names the governing law and courts.
