Google Workspace
PreviewDrive, Sheets, Docs and Slides changes on the activity timeline, with alerts when a source sheet changes.
Spreadsheets often feed real pipelines. Nistor puts their changes on the same timeline as everything else.
What Nistor collects
- Events: files created, edited, trashed or deleted in Drive, Sheets, Docs and Slides. By default Nistor subscribes to creations and edits. Moves and permission changes are not tracked.
- Assets: Google Sheets, including the ones that feed BigQuery tables, linked into lineage.
Each change notifies the people subscribed to the file and can raise an alert.
Set it up
This integration is in preview. It connects with a service account that has domain-wide delegation and impersonates one user, and it watches the shared drives you list, or that user's My Drive. Push notifications go through Workspace Events, which needs a Google API still in developer preview; polling works without it.
